NEW LIVE ALBUM, NEW PLANS

The brand new CD "Live At The Blue Rose Christmas Party" is out now. Check out the plans for 2012:

Just about a year ago in December 2010 Hank Shizzoe & His Band played a concert in Heilbronn, Germany as part of the line up of the Blue Rose Christmas Party. The good folks at Blue Rose considered this to be a memorable performance. So memorable that Hank's entire set is now being released on CD. More about the new live album here. It is now available at your local record store, on iTunes and at various online retailers.

Hank appears in the theatre play "Den schickt der Himmel" in March 2012 at the Theater Matte in Berne.

2011 has been a busy year with theatre work, band and solo shows and many side projects. Hank Shizzoe joined Stephan Eicher's band, played support for Bob Dylan, toured with Yvonne Moore's Blue Wisdom, Toni Vescoli, Christine Lauterburg and played on many session dates. Watch the TOUR and NEWS sections for regular updates. So far only two band concerts have been added to the schedule for 2012: February 10th 2012 in CH-Koeniz and February 11th in CH-Wetzikon.

And finally an update on the forthcoming Box Set: CrossCut Records got clearance for releasing a DVD of the show Hank Shizzoe & Loose Gravel played with Sonny Landreth in 2002. The DVD (with some extras) will be part of a box set that is hopefully going to be released in 2012. One CD with unreleased material from 1990 - 2002 is being mastered right now. A brand new blues album is in the can. There will also be a compilation of released recordings and a book in the as yet untitled box set. Stay tuned.
